Pay Rate: From £90,000 per year
Schedule: M-F 8:00am – 4:30 pm (No night or weekend shifts.)
Full DescriptionVitalCheck Wellness is looking for a General Practitioner to work in a corporate wellness clinic in Edinburgh, UK. We are looking for a dynamic leader to help drive patient engagement and continue to develop our presence. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in working with a new model wellness clinic where you will have the ability to be part of the process. By providing primary, preventive and urgent care in the workplace, we are able to make health care more convenient for the employee. It has been surveyed that more employees would engage in preventive care if the barrier of leaving work were eliminated.Responsibilities:

• Lead Clinical Operations and the onsite nursing team.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for a newly established clinic.
• Provide general wellness checkups.
• Consult with patients to understand their health concerns. Guide, educate and support patients on their preventative care needs.
• Provide MSK assessments.
• Advise/refer patients for follow-up care.
• Provide telemedicine services for lab review follow-ups.

Requirements:

• Postgraduate medicine degree recognized by the General Medical Council (GMC).
• Minimum 3-5 years of work experience following GPST.
• Registered and licensed with the GMC.
• Registered on the GP Register.
• Active BLS or ALS certification.
• Background in internal medicine, family practice and preventive care preferred.
• Background in urgent care or emergency care will be considered.
• Preventive medicine oriented.
• Patient education driven.
• Desire to be part of the change in our current healthcare system.
• Must be proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.
