Huntcliff Surgery is looking for a Receptionist to join our existing team, who needs to be a reliable, motivated team player with excellent telephone and face to face communication skills.We are open from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday and flexibility is essential as you will be required to work between these hours to meet the needs of the business and cover colleagues when required.Previous experience would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.Main duties of the jobMain duties of the jobWe are looking for someone who enjoys interacting with and helping others. Duties can include but are not limited to, greeting and directing patients face to face or via telephone, effective use of the appointment system, booking appointments, processing of information and assisting patients as required. To act as the central point of contact for patients, the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team, liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.Applicants must be educated to GCSE level or equivalent and have experience of working with the general public.
