Organise Consultant’s workload and provide the main point of contact between clinical staff and service users.For further information on the role please click the link below to view the job descriptionKnowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

  • Relevant secretarial qualification such as AMSPAR Diploma for Medical Secretaries, RSA or Scotvec qualification and/or equivalent secretarial experience
  • Accurate audio-typing skills. Digital dictation experience is advantageous, however training can be provided.
  • Excellent standard of English language.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft software packages.
  • Ability to develop an acquired knowledge of medical terminology
