Offer DescriptionDirector of Military Institute of Medicine – National Research Institute in Warsaw in Warsaw announces a competition for the position of adjunct of scientific and technical research team with a referral to work in the Department of Internal Diseases, Nephrology and Dialysis.Military Institute of Medicine – National Research Institutein Warsaw, 128 Szaserów StreetRequired documents:

• CV taking into account scientific and professional work,
• certificate of the right to exercise the profession;
• documents certifying professional qualifications (a copy of University diploma, a copy of the academic title, number of the right to exercise the profession, copies of diplomas of obtained degrees and held specializations);
• employment certificates confirming the periods of employment;
• a list of scientific achievements and bibliometrics certified by Scientific Library;
• information on research projects, ongoing and completed ones;
• initial declaration indicating Military Institute of Medicine – National Research Institute as the place of the primary employment;
• a statement of consent to the processing of personal data to conduct the competition, in accordance with the Act of 10 May 2018 on the protection of personal data (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2019, item 1781) and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (OJ L 119, 04/05/2016, p. 1).

Documents should be submitted in person or by post to the Office of Military Institute of Medicine – National Research Institute in Warsaw, 04-141 Warsaw, 128 Szaserów Street until 24.05.2024 in a sealed envelope marked: „Competition for the scientific position of adjunct”.The competition is announced on 10.05.2024. The results of the competition will be known within 2 months from the date of publication. A person who is qualified by open competition will be employed in accordance with the Labour Code and the Act of 30 April 2010 on research institutes (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 534 as amended) and regulations issued thereunder.RequirementsResearch Field Medical sciences » Medicine Education Level PhD or equivalentSkills/QualificationsRequired qualifications
To enter the competition the candidates should meet the following requirements:
1.PhD degree in medical sciences;
2.scientific activity prognosing obtaining postdoctoral degree worth at least 400 points for published work in accordance with the points of Science and Higher Education Republic of Poland, including: at least 1 scientific publication with Impact Factor (IF) in a journal noted by the base of Journal Citation Report (JCR). The candidate should be the first author of the publication in at least one original work. It is required from the candidate to publication of 1 original scientific article in accordance with the points of Ministry of Science and Higher Education Republic of Poland in the year before applying for the position of adjunct.
3.proven experience in raising and/or realization of scientific projects in nephrology;
4.the title a specialist in nephrology and internal diseases;
5.minimum 10 years of professional experience;
6.speak Polish fluently;
7.speak English fluently.Specific RequirementsThe scope of tasks:
1.conducting research and development works in the field of clinical immunology and genetics in nephrology;
2.making scientific achievements publically available, including publications and active participation in scientific life;
3.improving qualifications;
