You’ll work with Python, Java, VespaAI, AWS, LLMS (ChatGPT, Claude 2) to create robust, scalable solutions that push boundaries. If you’re a talented developer eager to work with some of today’s most exciting tech, this is the team for you!The Tech StackWe build our products using Python and Java, enabling robust and performant code leveraging VespaAI’s machine learning capabilities. Our tech stack runs on AWS, allowing us to focus on rapid iteration while relying on AWS for security, availability and scalability. vLex also takes advantage of the latest LLM technologies from OpenAI and Anthropic to develop class leading products and service.Responsibilities:

• Develop and productionise scalable machine learning systems using tools like VespaAI, Python, Java
• Leverage large datasets across case law, legislation, regulations, journals and news to generate ML models
• Work closely with business leaders, engineers and content teams to identify and execute high-impact AI products and services
• Implement robust model monitoring, testing, auditing and other controls for quality
• Follow model and data governance, ethics and compliance best practices

Requirements:

• MS/PhD in Computer Science, Maths, Physics or related technical field
• 5+ years building commercial or research ML applications
• Expert in algorithms like classification, NLP, graph neural networks etc.
• Experience with ML platforms like Vespa, TensorFlow, PyTorch
• Ability to translate business needs into ML solutions
• Comfortable organising, analysing and visualising complex data
• Fluent in Java/Python and familiar with unit testing.
