Randstad are seeking a skilled and qualified Maintenance Electrician to join our clients mobile team and carry out response maintenance as required. This role will primarily be based in the Belfast area, with a strong focus on electrical maintenance in domestic settings.

The Package:

* Competitive salary of between GBP35,000 – GBP38,000 per annum
* Contract: Northern Ireland Housing Executive
* Permanent, full-time vacancy.
* Monday to Friday work, 42.5 hours.
* Company van and fuel card.
* Generous company pension scheme.
* Annual Holidays including bank holidays.

Roles & Responsibilities:

* Complete domestic electrical maintenance, ensuring the safety and functionality of electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
* Complete periodic Inspection & Testing of domestic dwellings, conducting essential electrical checks to maintain compliance and safety.
* Complete minor heating installation works, supporting heating system installations with necessary electrical connection.
* Complete rewires, upgrading and replacing outdated or faulty wiring to maintain system integrity.
* Carry out smoke alarm installations, ensuring the proper installation and function of smoke detection systems.
* Complete fuse board upgrades, modernising electrical panels to meet current regulations and performance standards.

Personnel Specification:

* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations
* City & Guilds 2391
* 18th Edition Qualification
* Previous domestic experience
* Valid UK Driver’s Licence
* Desirable Criteria: Valid CSR card, 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification
