This project aims to investigate the cognitive, perceptual, and physiological side effects of VR interventions in these populations, and to develop tools for post-session assessment and risk prevention. The postdoctoral fellow will contribute to (1) the design and validation of an extended monitoring checklist, building upon existing cybersickness and embodiment questionnaires, and (2) the development of adaptive guidelines or tools for safe and inclusive VR deployment in healthcare or rehabilitation settings. The project will combine experimental psychology, human-computer interaction, and immersive technologies, in close collaboration with international partners (e.g., UniSA and clinical institutions). A secondment at UniSA (Australia) is envisioned to reinforce the interdisciplinary framework and foster comparative studies.Supervisor:Dr. , Associate Professor, IMT Atlantique – Lab-STICC / INUIT Team (France)Keywords: Virtual Reality; Vulnerable Populations; Cybersickness; Perception; Embodiment; Human-Technology Interaction; Cognitive Side Effects; Health TechnologiesWhere to apply E-mailzhanna.zhussupova@imt-atlantique.frRequirementsResearch Field Computer science Education Level PhD or equivalentResearch Field Neurosciences Education Level PhD or equivalentResearch Field Psychological sciences » Cognitive science Education Level PhD or equivalentSkills/Qualifications
