Offer Descriptioneco-union offers MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships applicants a full-time and flexible contract with a competitive salary to work on a research project and enjoy advanced training related to socio-economic and environmental sustainability of the Euro-Mediterranean region.The characteristics of the Fellowships is described and the eligibility criteria for applying are: * Holding a PhD degree at the time of the applications (Applicants who have successfully defended their doctoral thesis but who have not yet formally been awarded the doctoral degree are eligible to apply);

• A maximum of eight years experience in research, from the date of the award of their PhD degree (Research and career breaks excluded, as years of research in third countries for nationals or long-term residents of EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries);
• Have not resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Spain for more than 12 months in the 36 month before the call deadline (11 September 2024).

eco-union is an independent Sustainability-oriented Think and Do Tank based in Barcelona (Spain) and working at the frontier of the inter-leakages between Sciences, Policies and Practices. eco-union is involved in several large international action-research projects related to Green and Blue Economy, Climate Resilient tourism, Descarbonized mobility, Participatory democracy, among others wicked challenges. It works in collaboration with leading European universities, Think Tanks, Intergovernmental institutions, businesses, Civil Society Organizations, national, regional and local governments, to develop systemic and structural projects and initiatives.eco-union will be delighted to welcome post-doctoral applicants that are willing to apply for MSCA-PF 2024 funding in order to develop their research career. We are particularly interested – but not limited to – in the topics of Degrowth/PostGrowth, Ecosystems Services, Governance and Democracy practices in the policy field of Climate Action, Sustainable Trade, Renewable Energy, Green/Blue Economy, Wellbeing and Prosperity.RequirementsResearch Field All Education Level PhD or equivalentSkills/QualificationsWe are looking for a curious, proactive and collaborative researcher willing to take part in a policy-oriented organization aiming to have a direct positive impact on the economy, society or nature.Fluency in English is a must.
