Offer DescriptionWe are interested on receiving researchers in our center under the scope of the next call of MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships.The scientific interest of our research group focuses in the investigation of new technologies of biomedical imaging. In particular we try to improve capabilities and and detect needs of new high-resolution ultrasound systems in preclinical and laboratory models.Within the field of instrumentation and biomedical engineering, we aimi to advance the non-invasive detection, characterization, and quantification of pathologies in animal models using high-resolution ultrasound. The goal is to make the most advanced instrumentation in ultrasound imaging available for preclinical research by developing, evaluating, and disseminating new methods and technologies for high-resolution ultrasound imaging. These advancements may enable tissue characterization, thus holding great potential for detecting and monitoring tumor processes, evaluating their uncontrolled growth, as well as other distinctive features of cancer such as angiogenesis, inflammation, and changes in tissue perfusion and oxygenation.
