Offer DescriptionThe general aim of the present proposal is to evaluate if selectednaturally-occurring FAAH and NAAH inhibitors could be effective in reducing experimental colitis. Briefly, we aim to achieve the following objectives: i) verify if selective and potent FAAH and NAAA inhibitors from vegetal sources exert anti-inflammatory effects in vitro and in vivo models of intestinal inflammation; ii) prove if FAAH and NAAA natural inhibitors may be useful as nutraceutical supplements; iii) formulate specific ad hoc diet with natural FAAH and/or NAAA inhibitors in order to study the eventual beneficial effects in IBD animal modelRequirementsAdditional InformationEligibility criteriaa) the titles and scientific publications including: a PhD or equivalent qualification obtained abroad, the degree of specialization of the medical area, the certificates of attendance at post-graduate courses taken abroad as well as the performance of a documented research at public and tested by means of contracts, grants or assignments, both in Italy and abroad (60 points out of 100).
b) interview (40 points out of a hundred). Can not be allowed to interview candidates who have obtained less than 20/100 in the valuation of securities.
