❓ About SiPearl…SiPearl is building the European high-performance low-power microprocessor dedicated to supercomputing and AI inference. This new generation of microprocessors will first target EuroHPC Joint Undertaking ecosystem, which is deploying world-class supercomputing infrastructures in Europe for solving major challenges in medical research, security, energy management and climate with a reduced environmental footprint.SiPearl is working in close collaboration with its 30 partners from the European Processor Initiative (EPI) consortium – leading names from the scientific community, supercomputing centres and industry – which are its stakeholders, future clients and end-users.SiPearl employs more than 190 people in France (Maisons-Laffitte, Grenoble, Massy, Sophia Antipolis), Germany (Duisburg) and Spain (Barcelona).💻 About the roleIn this role, you will work closely with our infrastructure manager and your colleagues from the network and security team to ensure the proper functioning and evolution of the information systems. You should have a strong interest in security, as you will operate in a sovereign environment that requires intellectual property safeguarding , as well as maintaining high performance to ensure the smooth operation of our HPC (High-Performance Computing) cluster, which supports the advancement of R&D in EDA (Electronic Design Automation).🎯 What a regular day at the job might look like

• Manage the company’s networks (2 data centers in France, offices in France, Spain, and remote offices)
• Ensure site and wide area network interconnections, and manage relationships with telecommunications providers
• Keep the network state-of-the-art in terms of security, availability, and reliability
• Participate in the deployment of network security policies to protect all data
• Provide level 2/3 support to resolve network and security-related incidents
• Work closely with other tech teams
• Administering, monitoring, and maintaining LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi networks to secure all communications
• Participating in projects to improve and upgrade the network infrastructure.
• Deploying, managing and configuring equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, etc.).
• Monitoring network security, detecting, and resolving incidents and security incidents
• Documenting procedures and keeping an accurate inventory of equipment.
• Providing technical support and assistance to internal teams when needed.

🔍 What would make you succeed in this role

• Previous experience in network administration (experience in an SME/medium-sized company is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of networking technologies: TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, VPN, Wi-Fi.
• Familiarity with main network equipment and monitoring tools.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and security best practices.
• Organized, service-oriented, and a strong team player.
• At least 10 years of previous experience in the field

• This role involves working with a variety of technologies and systems, so a willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team is also important.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required
