We are seeking a talented NodeJs engineer to join our team in developing a firm-wide Risk platform. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex and challenging projects within Markets Technology. You will collaborate with various systems, market risk managers, and financial controllers to develop this franchise-critical strategic cross-business platform designed to run on the cloud and scale significantly.Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain our REST APIs using NodeJs.
• Optimize existing endpoints to improve overall performance and monitoring.
• Work closely with the project manager to maintain high-quality governance and transparency.
• Contribute to the development of modern risk system software in a leading banking environment.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in developing robust REST APIs using NodeJs (version 15 and above).
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid academic background with at least an undergraduate degree in a related field.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with derivatives and/or market risk (any asset class).
• Knowledge of streaming concepts and brokers like Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with Java 11+.
