Company :Adoc Talent Management is recruiting a “Numerical Computing Researcher – Expert – AI Infrastructure” M/F for his client, a global leader in telecommunications and digital services. You will join their AI Infrastructure team in Paris, and will be part of a world-class group working on next-generation infrastructure for large-scale AI models. In this role, you will focus on the core numerical computing challenges that enable efficient, accurate, and scalable model training and inference.Your mission & Key responsabilities :You will conduct advanced research in numerical computing for large model training and inferenceYou will design and implement techniques such as:

• Sparse matrix computation
• Low-rank approximation and tensor decomposition
• Mixed precision computation and stability analysis
• Quantization and dimensionality reduction

You will collaborate closely with system, compiler, and parallelism experts to bring innovations into real-world systemsYou will publish in top-tier conferences or contribute to high-impact industrial solutionsThe position is based in Boulogne Billancourt (Ile de France, 92), and requires regular on-site presence.Profile :You hold a PhD in computer science, applied math, or related field (or equivalent experience in industry). Applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds, whether from academic or technical industry paths are highly encouraged.You have a research experience in one or more of the following:

• Sparse/dense matrix algorithms
• Mixed precision or adaptive precision methods
• Model compression or efficient representation

You have experience with AI compilers, numerical kernels (e.g., cuBLAS, CUTLASS), or HPC libraries. Your work has been recognized through publications in top conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, SC, or SIAM.You have a solid background in numerical linear algebra, scientific computing, or applied mathematics, with proven proficiency in implementing and analyzing algorithms involving matrix and tensor computations.You are skilled in Python and/or C++, familiar with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX, and comfortable reading and writing academic papers in fluent English.Why Join our client ?
