These roles start in July 2025.To be considered for these roles, the successful candidate will have to meet the following criteria :

• Irish Medical Council (IMC) Registration
• Strong experience in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology
• Ability to work through English as evidenced by a valid IELTS or OET Certificate
• Strong motivation to work in Ireland
• Professional qualifications would be a distinct advantage.

This post will be of interest to a doctor who has experience and skills which allow them to take up the following responsibilities:

• Participate in the day to day provision of routine and emergency medical care to a level appropriate to the grade, in the delivery suite, wards and out-patient clinics, for obstetric and gynaecology patients.

• Duties involve intrapartum care, emergency gynaecology as well as outpatient clinics in both obstetrics and gynaecology. Previous experience in intrapartum care and good communication skills are essential.

• Responsible for care and day-to-day clinical management of in-patients of the Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist for whom you are working.

• Attend out-patient clinics as required.

• Arranging admissions and preparing discharge summaries as appropriate.

• Ensure that records of patients in your care are accurate, up to date and legible.
