TTM Healthcare Solutions (TTM) have partnered with a leading organisation to hire Senior Occupational Therapist based in Westmeath for temporary work. This is envisioned to be over 12 month contract.This position will involve the ideal candidate working 28 hours per week.This opportunity offers an extended booking within a single healthcare service. Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of elderly patients to identify their physical, mental, and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.
• Utilize therapeutic techniques to improve patients’ daily living skills, cognitive function, and emotional well-being.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to deliver holistic care.
• Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to support home-based care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to case discussions and care planning.

Responsibilities:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• CORU registered
• Must have previous experience working with children or in a mental health setting
• Full driving license and access to own car is desirable.
• Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
• All candidates will be required to undergo Garda Vetting.
• International Police Clearance (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16).
