Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual treatment programs for older adults.
• Facilitate patient independence and improve quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate with primary care providers, family members, and caregivers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families about managing daily activities and adapting to age-related changes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with data protection regulations.
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuing professional development activities.

Requirements:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
• Registration with CORU
• Experience working with older adults, preferably within a primary care setting.
• Full driving license and access to own car is desirable.
• Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
• All candidates will be required to undergo Garda Vetting.
• International Police Clearance (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 moths after the age of 16).
