Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of children with disabilities to determine their functional abilities and needs.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to enhance physical, cognitive, and social development.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and review treatment goals and progress.Provide education and support to families and caregivers to facilitate the child’s development and participation in daily activities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Stay informed about current best practices and developments in paediatric occupational therapy.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Current CORU registration
Proven experience working with children with disabilities.
Full driving license and access to own car is desirable.
Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
All candidates will be required to undergo Garda Vetting.
Candidates who have lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months over the age of 16 will be required to produce International Police Clearance. Failure to have this document during the initial recruitment stages will result in an unsuccessful application.
