The Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) department is an essential function within Human Resources, delivering a range of services to all areas of the University in support of health, safety, and occupational health.

About the Role
The OHS department is introducing a new service delivery model that optimises access to our professional and clinical services. As the Administration Services Manager, you will lead on a number of process change projects that will place efficient administration at the heart of our service improvement.
You will work closely with the department’s Senior Management Team, providing support with financial budgeting and strategic planning, whilst ensuring the smooth running of the OHS office.
You will also line manage and admin business support team, ensuring they provide an efficient, effective and professional administrative service.
You will also play a key role as the main interface with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority.

About You
You will have proven experience of managing and supporting a team through a period process review and improvement.
Experience of financial management processes such as budgeting and forecasting will also be required.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to summarise and present complex information to others, and to interact professionally with senior stakeholders.
A high degree of self-motivation and the ability to work well when under pressure are also important.
