Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 9am-6pm, will involve occasional evening and weekend work.Salary: €45k – €48kWe are seeking an Operations Coordinator for a Tourist related business in Killarney. This will mostly be a Monday to Friday position, 9am to 6pm, but will include occasional evening work and weekend requirements. As an Operations Coordinator you will manage day-to-day operational activities, coordinate with suppliers and team members, and ensure that all services meet their high-quality standards.Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee daily operations, including tour schedules, bookings, and customer service.
• Communicate with staff and third-party vendors to ensure all arrangements run smoothly.
• Manage and update booking systems, itineraries, and schedules.
• Monitor operational performance and address any issues promptly to minimize disruption.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring contracts and agreements are up to date.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and scheduling of support staff.
• Stock control of operational resources, including shop supplies, farm equipment, and promotional materials.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in operations or coordination within the tourism, travel, or hospitality industry.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-first attitude.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with local and international tourism trends and regulations.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle unexpected challenges calmly.
• Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard hours, including weekends or holidays, as required.
