What are we looking for

At Cosentino (cosentino) we are looking for an Operation Manager located in Lille, who will have the opportunity to work in a multinational environment, in full expansion, surrounded by numerous challenging projects that you can be part of.

The Operations Coordinator oversees and supervises warehouse employees and drivers to make sure all items are prepared, shipped, and received on time while complying with company policy. They act as a liaison between workers and management and report on shipping activities and issues.

What you will do

On this position there will be different fronts you are going to be working with: 

Logistics:

Prepare appropriate documentation for loading and unloading trucks and containers.
Organize and maintain delivery schedule daily with efficiency route planning.

Quality and Safety Control:

Responsible for quality control by reviewing all incoming and outgoing product for damage.
Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis.
Lead and maintain a safe working area ensuring that Health and Safety processes and procedures are met.

Administration:

Assist with system order entry when needed, as well as customer delivery schedules.
Responsible for inventory management and control.
Able to enter orders into SAP, interact with customers, load/unload products, and move product within the warehouse as needed.

What you need to succeed

The successful individual in this role will be a results-driven and detail-oriented business professional capable of working strategically and tactically within a customer centered and production-driven environment.

EXPERIENCE
 

Required

-5+ years operational and people management experience.
-Experience with managing multifunctional teams in a manufacturing, or production environment.
Desired

-Stone / Surface experience
 
EDUCATION

Required

-Bachelor’s degree required in management, industrial engineering or related field
 
KNOWLEDGE

Required

-Good understanding of business KPI’s
-Good understanding of P&L account and financial implications of operational decisions
Desired

-SAP
 
SKILLS

-Strong customer service
-Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
-Capacity work in fast paced environment that may change frequently
-Capacity organize teams and apply
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office
