Description and requirementsSkanska, one of the world’s leading project development and construction groups, is an inclusive and responsible business that is helping to build a better society.We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our Cementation team based from Doncaster.The Operations Manager FDA will identify, price, promote and deliver FDA products to the internal and external market. They will represent the Operations Manager FDA external opportunities for Cementation Skanska at strategic and operational levelsWhat you’ll do

• Develop a clear three-year rolling business plan for the FDA Stream that aligns with the Company aspiration
• Manage a team of Managers and staff within the FDA Business Stream.
• Facilitate the management of employee relations within the team, coordinating processing of investigatory and disciplinary matters.
• Ensure adequate human resources to undertake the work of the FDA Business Stream.
• Ensure the Company and legislative Environmental, Health and Safety standards are met
• Ensure all enquiries and tenders are undertaken in accordance with the Skanska/Cementation governance processes
• Will be required to lead Pre-con and business development responsibilities in securing new opportunities in existing and new markets

• Planning and organisation skills to be able to be responsible for the efficient operation of a business stream
• The ability to act decisively and solve staff or equipment-related problems
• Ability to clearly communicate with your team, managers and clients
