We are seeking an Oracle Developer to join our forward-thinking team dedicated to implementing innovative tech solutions that improve Sub-ledger processes and drive operational excellence. Our organisation is committed to making financial lives better through every connection, and your expertise could be a vital part of this mission!Role: Oracle DeveloperDuration: 6 Months (extension Options)Location: Dublin (Hybrid 3 days in Office)Rate: €500 per day (umbrella)Key Responsibilities:

• Develop enhancements and architectural improvements for our existing systems.

• Troubleshoot and support system components as needed.

• Collaborate with Finance Technology development teams to deliver end-to-end solutions that meet business needs.

• Partner with the Product Owner and business analysts to deliver user stories and secure sign-off.

• Contribute to application design, regression test automation, and other efficiency initiatives.

• Actively participate in all agile ceremonies to foster a collaborative environment.

Essential Skills:

• Strong experience in Oracle (10g, 11g, 12c, or 19C) with expertise in coding PL/SQL procedures and functions.

• Proficient in object-oriented design, with a solid grasp of architectural principles.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven global collaboration experience.

• Eagerness to learn and adopt team best practises and standards.

• Ownership mentality, with the ability to chase issues through to completion while communicating effectively.

• Strong SQL performance tuning skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Python and knowledge of UNIX or Linux environments.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio C# .NET and C# for Windows application development.

• Proficiency in GIT/Bitbucket and Quartz Python development.

• Understanding of Scrum/Agile methodologies and Lean software development practises.

• Investment banking experience, especially within front or back-office teams.

• A solid grasp of accounting principles and corporate GL structures is a plus.

• Experience with automated testing tools and SQL Server.
