Are you an early bird looking for a flexible job that fits around your busy life, school, or hobbies? Join us as an order picker at FloraHolland! Your day starts bright and early at 6:00 AM. After clocking in, you’ll attend a daily briefing where your team leader will discuss improvements and safety points. You’ll then check the screen to see your finishing time, which varies daily between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM, and the number of carts to be processed. Once you have this information, you’ll put on your headphones and hop on your electric cart. Through your headphones, you’ll receive directions on where to go. Following the numbers in the hall, you’ll pick up your cart and move the flowers and plants to their designated spots. After placing the cart at its final destination, you’ll scan the barcode on the floor and verify the quantity of flowerpots or plant pots. Then, it’s time for your first break of the day, where you can chat with your colleagues. Before you know it, your workday is over, and you clock out with your badge.screen to see what time you’ll finish working, which varies each day between 10:00-13:00. You also find out how many carts need to be processed. After that, you put on your headphones and hop on your electric cart. Through your headphones, you’ll hear exactly where to go. You follow the numbers in the hall and pick up your cart. What you will do is move the flowers and plants on the cart to the correct spots. After that, you go to the final destination and place the cart there. Before leaving your spot, you scan the barcode on the floor. Then, you check if the number of flowerpots/plant pots matches. It’s now time for your first break of the day, and you chat with your colleagues. Your workday is already over, and you clock out with your badge.In this role, you are the one who ensures that the flowers and plants are in the correct places. If this position is not filled, work will grind to a halt, the carts won’t be moved on time, and everything will get chaotic. This causes delays in the process and a messy workday. You make sure everything runs smoothly. You do this by focusing on:

• Picking up and moving the carts to the correct locations.

• Scanning the barcodes on the floor to properly track everything.

• Checking if the quantities of flowerpots/plant pots are correct.

Royal FloraHolland has been connecting flower growers and buyers for over 100 years and is the largest flower auction in the world. We operate in 3 locations: Naaldwijk, Rijnsburg, and Aalsmeer. This makes it easy to stop by for a chat or if you have any questions. We are available Monday to Friday to assist you!Wat wij jou bieden:

• Salary: €16.04 gross per hour or an all-in salary of €17.06 gross per hour

• Weekly payment

• Full reimbursement of your public transport pass if you work more than 4 days a week

• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer for journeys over 5 km one way

• Once per quarter, you’ll receive a plant gift from Royal FloraHolland

• 8.33% holiday pay

Wat vragen wij van je:

• At least 18 years old

• At least 1.60 meters tall (for your safety on the work floor)

• Able to understand and speak Dutch or English well
