The company continuously develops its four sites in Budapest, Debrecen, Pécs and Szeged and is looking for skilled IT professionals to join its team.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Open Telekom Cloud (OTC) Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of OTC services and architecture, strong cloud engineering skills, and a proactive approach to optimizing cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying and managing OTC solutions to support customer projects and defined requirements.Cloud Infrastructure Design and Implementation

• Deploy scalable and secure cloud solutions using Open Telekom Cloud services.

• Configure and manage OTC resources such as Elastic Cloud Servers (ECS), Virtual Private Clouds (VPC), Elastic Load Balancers (ELB), and Object Storage Service (OBS).

• Set up and optimize hybrid cloud and multi-cloud integrations for seamless operations.

Automation and Orchestration

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using OTC standard tools

• Develop scripts and automation processes for resource provisioning and management.

• Integrate OTC services into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps teams.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization

• Use monitoring tools such as OTC’s Cloud Eye to track resource usage, network health, and application performance.

• Analyze and optimize cloud resource utilization to improve cost efficiency and performance.

• Implement auto-scaling and high-availability configurations to handle workload fluctuations.

Security and Compliance

• Configure and maintain security measures, including firewalls, security groups, and VPNs, to protect cloud resources.

• Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) roles and policies to ensure secure access.

• Ensure solutions comply with GDPR, ISO, and other regulatory standards.

Collaboration and Documentation

• Work closely with cloud architects, DevOps, and other engineering teams to support application deployments and infrastructure updates.

• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of cloud configurations, processes, and best practices.

• Provide technical guidance and support to stakeholders.

QualificationsTechnical Skills (MANDATORY)

• Strong knowledge of Open Telekom Cloud services (ECS, VPC, ELB, OBS, CCE, etc.).

• Proficiency in networking concepts, including routing, subnetting, DNS, and VPNs.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and scripting languages

• Strong Knowledge of monitoring tools and practices for OTC

Experience (MANDATORY)

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably on OTC or similar OpenStack-based platforms.

• Experience in hybrid cloud setups and multi-cloud architectures

• Demonstrated expertise in cloud security and compliance practices

• Ability to speak effectively in highly technical discussions with customer

Certifications

• Open Telekom Cloud certification (MANDATORY)

• AWS, GCS or AZURE or other Open Stack Equivalent

• Networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent).

• Security certifications (CISSP, CompTIA Security+).(nice to have)
