Company infoWe are looking for a Packaging Specialist for our growing multinational company. This job is located in Tatabánya, where Coloplast is one of the leading companies, ensuring wide range of professional opportunities.
The Packaging Specialist is responsible for validation and maintenance of packaging materials used for boxes (retail and shippers) used in production on volume sites.
The Specialist creates, reviews and approves packaging documentation, procedures and instructions, and approves changes to box material.
Main tasks are to support projects with packaging setup for new products, and project team with changes to existing packaging setup, to ensure proper validation documentation.Responsibilities

• Create and maintain documentation for packaging materials used for boxes, including specifications
• Create and maintain documentation for transportation validation of new products and for modification of existing products
• React to transportation issues
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge about packaging material and transportation requirements
• Optimize transportation documentation by ensuring use of correct standards, and package configuration
• Collaborate with product and label responsible to ensure optimal transportation documentation
• Ensure timely documentation of packaging related deliverables in projects
• Set quality level for packaging materials towards supplier
• Ensure proper actions regarding scrap due to packaging
• Support production globally and CM suppliers with packaging related issues
• Manage testing of packaging materials for transportation studies and material testing
• Govern collaboration with packaging material vendors to develop innovative boxes

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in developing packaging materials
• Relevant academic background (BSc or MSc in Engineering, or similar)
• Analytical reasoning, structured problem solving and strong methodological approach, statistical knowledge
• Fluent in both spoken and written English
• Mobile: estimated travel in position is 20 travel days a year
• Experience with automated packaging processes is an advantage
