Job Description:We are looking for a PAS Engineer based in Belgium. Your broad experience is within the process industry like Chemical, Oil & Gas, Terminals, Power or adjacent areas in the process systems business.You will be responsible for the application design and development of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) in the process industry. As a PAS Engineer you are performing project activities in house or at the customer site. This includes design, configuration, test, commission and document (complex) configurations and applications in Emerson’s Process Automation Systems according to the agreed planning and functional requirements.In this role your responsibilities will be

• Produce functional design specifications in close cooperation with our customers
• Produce detailed design specifications and test specification documents
• Implement and Test DCS and HMI configurations.
• Assist in Factory Acceptance Tests with Customers
• Assist in startup and commissioning activities at the customer site location
• Be responsible for technical quality and progress of a (small) project
• Support in estimating and controlling the project hour budget and technical deliverables

You serve as a strategic partner to build, grow, and maintain profitable and long-lasting relationships with key accounts. You articulate messages in a way that is broadly understandable.For This Role, You Will Need:

• Interest & experience in Industrial Automation, applied in process industries like Oil & Gas, Power, (fine) Chemicals and Terminals.
• A team player with a huge drive for result.
• Proven communication skills in order to advise our customers and translate their needs and requirements into solid solutions.
• Bachelor’s or Master degree (or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical, Process Control/Industrial Automation) or through proven experience
• Verbal and written communication skills proficient in English

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Proficient in Dutch or French would be a plus
• Experience working with Batch
