What do you have to offer?

• Experience as payroll specialist.
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
• knowledge of legislation and regulations of the field
• Written and speaking proficiency in French.
• English will be used as a main communication language within the company;
• Being able to put yourself in the place of the user and having the user as your main focus. The ability to assess the user’s situation, fundamental wishes and needs;
• Curious, a need to figure out how things work (investigate)
• Analytical thinking & problem-solving skills
• Able to handle complaints and challenging customers
• Team player who is able to work efficient and independently;
• Working independently in a structured approach;
• Open to learn and have new experiences;

Which task can you expect?

• Gather information on hours worked for each employee
• Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc. with assistance of a computer system
• Receive approval from upper management for payments when needed
• Prepare and execute pay orders through an electronic system or distribute paychecks
• Administer statements of payment to personnel either electronically or on paper
• Process taxes and payment of employee benefits
• Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.
• Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors
• Handle requests and potential complaints from customers
• Prepare reports for upper management, finance department etc.
