We are seeking a seasoned Payroll Director to lead our global payroll compliance and operations team. This pivotal role involves overseeing domain experts in benefits, compensation, and equity compensation while managing the local tax implications of these areas. You’ll play a key role in driving the efficiency and accuracy of our payroll processes, ensuring compliance, contractor SLA adherence, controls, and employee satisfaction. With employees and contractors across Europe, the US, Canada, and APAC, this role is integral to our global operations.✅ Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:

  • Lead and manage the global payroll operations team, ensuring high performance and streamlined processes.
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits, compensation, and equity compensation plans.
  • Drive the migration to Workday from a payroll perspective.
  • Help shape the company’s equity compensation, incentive, and commission programs for go-to-market teams, partnering with the Total Rewards and BizOps teams to implement and manage these initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations related to payroll and benefits, collaborating with EOR providers where needed.
  • Align payroll operations with overall business objectives by working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide expert guidance on UK and NL payroll practices, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and legal requirements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the payroll department.

  • Extensive experience in global payroll management, particularly within the UK and Netherlands (NL) markets.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday and Safeguard systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of benefits, compensation, and equity compensation, along with their associated tax implications.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing successful global teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with US payroll practices (a bonus, not required).
  • Relevant certifications or degrees in finance, accounting, or related fields.
