  • Developing specialist analyses, conducting expert opinions and issuing opinions that have a direct impact on the decision-making process in an area that is important for the Company’s operations
  • Creating complex elements of strategic plans, business plans, development plans for a given area of ​​the Company’s operations. Integrating the activities of various units participating in the planning process
  • Carrying out tasks within a specific policy, set goals and specific general principles, as well as coordinating work on new studies that go beyond the substantive tasks of individual organizational units in a given area of ​​the Company
  • Creating new solutions based on the adopted Company policy, operational and business plans, and based on the ability to integrate theoretical knowledge from various fields related to a specific area of ​​the Company’s operations
  • Making decisions that require considering many possibilities and selecting the best solution, taking into account its effects and influences on a given process and other phenomena occurring in a given area of ​​the Company (including financial effects)
  • Carrying out multi-level, specialist short- and long-term analyses in order to select the best solutions for a given process operating in a given area of ​​the Company
  • Maintaining substantive cooperation with external institutions within the scope of the work being carried out
  • Taking responsibility for maximizing benefits within a designated area of ​​operation by optimizing the use of own resources
  • Implementation of project tasks
  • Manage end-to-end monthly and yearly payroll processes, including data input, time & attendance, civil law contracts, allowances, deductions, and benefits.
  • Maintain accurate payroll and employee records (joiners/leavers/changes), ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
  • Ensure timely payroll execution via direct input or coordination with external payroll providers
  • Administer benefits programs, including pensions, health insurance, social benefits (e.g., loans, subsidies), and related reporting
  • Ensure compliance with local tax, labour, and audit regulations; maintain proper documentation and support audits as needed
  • Collaborate with internal teams (HR, Finance) and external partners (tax authorities, insurance institutions, service providers) for accurate payroll processing and reporting.
  • Address and resolve employee payroll queries, providing excellent support and guidance
  • Identify and implement improvements to payroll systems, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and compliance
  • Job location also in Gdańsk

​Knowledge and experience

  • Specialist knowledge from several fields required – at a level and scope exceeding the directly performed tasks in the position – in relation to the organizational unit and department. The position requires practical knowledge in the field German labour law, remuneration.
  • At least 5 years of practical experience working for Germany or Austria based entities a must have
  • Higher education in a specific field supplemented by courses and training.
  • German language C1
  • Experience in process transitions and transformations
  • SAP knowledge – good to have
