Are you an experienced payroll professional ready to take the lead? We are looking for a Payroll Lead to join a specialist operational team, supporting a diverse client portfolio and driving payroll excellence.

In this role, you will oversee end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring compliance with Belgian legislation and delivering high-quality service to clients. You’ll be the key point of contact for your clients, managing deadlines, providing expert advice, and supporting system improvements. Collaboration and leadership will be central to your success as you guide both clients and team members through complex payroll challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee payroll delivery and post-payroll declarations for a portfolio of clients.

Act as the primary contact for clients, ensuring timely and accurate information exchange.

Provide technical expertise and guidance on payroll processes, system maintenance, and legal changes.
*

Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance with Belgian regulations.
*

Support system testing, year-end activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
*

Coach and develop team members, sharing knowledge and promoting best practices.
*

Assist with resolving client escalations and identifying opportunities to enhance client partnerships.

What We Are Looking For:

Minimum 5 years of payroll experience within an HR consultancy, outsourcing, or corporate environment.

Strong knowledge of Belgian payroll legislation and end-to-end payroll processes.
*

Understanding of payroll inputs, tax compliance, benefits, and timekeeping systems.
*

Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
*

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
*

Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
*

Strong communication skills in English, French, and Dutch.
*

Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently.
