Payroll Specialist – German Speaking

With a strong presence in the EMEA region, their Budapest-based payroll team ensures the seamless delivery of payroll services across multiple countries.As a German-Speaking Payroll Specialist, you will:Collect and calculate payroll input to ensure accurate processingAdhere to defined processes to maintain compliance and controlCollaborate with payroll vendors to manage employee, statutory, and third-party payments on timeDeliver payroll reports to internal and external stakeholders promptlySupport year-end tax processes in accordance with country-specific legislationServe as the first point of contact for payroll and tax-related queriesMaintain detailed payroll manuals and instructionsAssist internal and external audit teams as requiredCoordinate with various departments to ensure seamless payroll processingIdentify and implement process improvements within assigned countries and beyondParticipate in business or functional projects as neededElvárások / RequirementsAt least 2 years of experience in end-to-end payroll processingGerman language knowledge (at least intermediate level) and English (fluent); experience with Austrian, Swiss, or German payroll is a plusStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with colleagues at all levelsPrevious experience in a Shared Services or Payroll environment is a plusProficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel (including Pivot Tables and Lookups)Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and numeracy skillsStrong organizational skills to meet strict payroll deadlinesCustomer-focused mindset to ensure efficient resolution of payroll queriesAbility to identify opportunities for process improvement and drive implementationAmit nyújtunk / BenefitsWhat we offer:Competitive salary, Cafeteria benefits (SZÉP-card allowance), and annual performance-based bonusMedicover health insurance package with screenings, life, and accident insurance, and discounted dental care servicesTraining opportunities for both soft and hard skills, including complimentary language courses after three monthsHybrid work arrangement (2 days remote, 3 days in the office) in a modern office with standing desks, ergonomic chairs, and complimentary parking, located in the 13th districtMultilingual and inclusive work environment with innovative technology and collaborative cultureExciting team and company events, including social responsibility initiatives and after-hours activities
