We’re evolving our processes and technology to support Cimpress’ rapid growth.Our team:We are currently looking for a driven and organized People Operations Specialist to join our European People team as we look to create a team member-centric People organization across our remote-first European entities. The People Operations Specialist provides front-line support to team members for their assigned locations (with primary focus on either Spain or Germany), covering all aspects of the team member-lifecycle. This includes responding to inquiries, advising team members on benefits and entitlements, managing team member records (including onboarding and offboarding activities) and benefits administration.As part of the People Operations Team, the People Ops Specialist collaborates closely with numerous internal partners, including teams such as Benefits/Wellness, Payroll, Compensation, Mobility, HR Business Partners, but also external partners and service providers.The role reports directly to the Sr HR Manager, European region.What You Will Do:In this impactful role, you will:Manage team member queries by answering location-specific questions as a Specialist, and redirecting to other internal teams when requiredBe responsible for the management and tracking of team members’ lifecycle events: HR files, probationary periods, onboarding, leaves of absences, time & attendance and off-boardingAct as a system administrator for our HR Database, managing accuracy of team member data and paperwork requirementsCoordinate Onboarding activities for new hires, including: communications, paperwork, drafting employment contracts in DocuSignProvide Benefits support: administering local programs, benefit enrollments, and vendor invoicingLiaise with Payroll: Prepare monthly summary of changes for PayrollSupport the voluntary termination process: sending necessary paperwork and conducting exit interviews when requiredNeed to keep yourself informed on changes in legislation, policies or programs that may affect team membersAssist in developing and/or documenting HR policies and proceduresEffectively support the day-to-day execution of assigned projectsYour Qualifications:At Cimpress, we value the experiences that individual team members add to our culture. Please don’t hesitate to apply even if you don’t meet the exact qualifications, we look forward to learning more about you!An academic degree with at least one year of Human Resources and/or administrative, or operations experienceExceptional organizational skills working across several projects simultaneouslyMust be hands-on, detail-oriented, and process-minded and cope well with a high volume of HR transactionsAbility to build strong relationships and work independently, establish trust and credibility, and handle confidential information in a mature and professional manner.Experience in working in international organizations, and possess the attitude it takes to successfully collaborate across locations and cultures.Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word and Excel, advantage of previous work within Google WorkspaceExcellent verbal and written communication skills – both in English and Spanish, or English and GermanNice to Have:Previous knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors and/or DocuSign is also an advantageKnowledge of another European language is an advantage (especially Czech)Why You’ll Love Working Here:Being at Cimpress means that you don’t see work as just a building, a desk or a manufacturing floor.
