Lancaster University Students’ Union is seeking a new HR & Strategy Manager to sit on our Senior Leadership Team. Reporting to the CEO you will play a pivotal role in supporting cultural change and delivering our day to day people operations. LUSU is a charity with 43 number of staff supporting 16,000 number of students at the University and alongside our managers you will be making sure that we offer a great employee experience allowing our staff to deliver a fantastic student experience.
With a strong generalist HR background you will be experienced in leading change programmes, organisational enhancement and complex case management. This is a great opportunity offering autonomy and the chance to make an impact for someone with the ability to form relationships with key stakeholders, solve problems and navigate obstacles.
The role will set the tone for ensuring that the Students’ Union has a welcoming, inclusive and collaborative culture that celebrates and provides learning and development opportunities for all its people.
This is an exciting time for the organisation as we are embarking on a new strategic planning cycle and this role will be instrumental in the organisational development and delivery of the strategic plan.
This role holder will also oversee all the student staff HR matters across the organisation.
