Performance & Analysis Manager

This is an exciting role for a versatile analyst who thrives when exploring complex datasets, synthesizing findings, and presenting outputs that are accessible and actionable.   We are looking for a creative and curious Performance & Analysis Manager to join our Business Planning & Insights (BPI) team.  You will be at the forefront of delivering the analysis and insight capability at Solent and will be working within a dynamic team who are keen to increase the impact of our work.

This is a great opportunity to play a central role in the BPI team and to work flexibly across a range of business and strategic questions.  The role holder will play a leading role in improving how we gain value from our data and how we present information and insight.  They will ensure that the analysis, dashboards, and resources we produce are user-centred and aligned to institutional priorities; and that we are continuously improving how we deliver. 

The role holder will work with stakeholders across the university including external relations, academic leadership and student administration.  You will provide strategic insight and analysis in support of improving the student experience and outcomes, business planning, internal performance monitoring and external benchmarking. 

We are looking for a strategic and analytical thinker who is confident in working with multiple sources of data and information to derive insight resulting in clear and actionable recommendations.  You will have a collaborative approach, an appetite for continuous improvement, the ability to synthesise and present data in engaging formats. 

Reporting to the Head of BPI, you will have a passion for insight, a creative approach to developing solutions for a range of audiences, supported by a positive can-do attitude with the ability to anticipate and respond to complex stakeholder requirements.  As the BPI function is always seeking to improve our outputs, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development and transformation of the team.
