Bishop Grosseteste University is seeking applications from experienced and highly motivated individuals with a passion for providing an excellent service to all stakeholders. Reporting to the Psychology programme lead and working as part of the Psychology team you will be a regular point of contact for students, placement providers as well as professional and academic staff. The Psychology specialist placement officer’s role is to foster and promote relationships with local and regional organisations in order to develop specialist placement opportunities for Psychology students. The successful candidate will also undertake a range of administrative and liaison tasks and to monitor and ensure the quality of placement partnerships for psychology which must comply with the requirements of the course and the needs of the student. Applicants should possess significant experience of working under pressure and managing competing deadlines. It is also necessary to have experience of maintaining positive relationships with external and internal contacts.
