• Degree in Biochemistry will be positively valued.
• Prior experience working in both Virology and Immunology is required, having JCR publications in these two fields will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of the following experimental techniques will also be valued:

• Quantitative PCR for detecting both viral RNA and host cell transcripts, virus culture and propagation, viral titer determination (TCID50), transfection and expression of plasmids of interest.
• Western blot for detecting viral and cellular proteins (immune responses)
• RNA interference techniques.
• Previous experience working with RNA viruses, specifically flaviviruses, will be positively valued.
• Additionally, experience working with different cell lines in cultures, especially HEK 293T, A549, and macrophages, will be appreciated.
• Holding a certificate for working with laboratory animals will also be valued.
• A B1 or higher English proficiency certificate is required.
