This research aims to develop new artificial intelligence algorithms that consume few computational resources. The recruit will focus their work on one or more of the following sub-lines of work: low-resolution algorithms, model optimization with HPC techniques, edge computing, quantum computing, energy-efficient compact data structures, NLP optimization.Justification of the durationA contract duration of 20 months is proposed, until the end of the project, and is considered sufficient to complete the research tasks of the project.Where to apply WebsiteRequirementsResearch Field Computer science Education Level Master Degree or equivalentSkills/QualificationsQualifications that give access to doctoral programmes.Be enrolled at the SUG in a doctoral programme linked to the research tasks to be carried out in the project in the area of artificial intelligence.Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent. It will also be an essential requirement to join the CITIC during the period of completion of the thesis.Additional InformationEligibility criteriaCriteria and assessment of meritsThe following merits will be assessed and scored: * Knowledge of Matlab, Python, R and/or C++ (advanced level). They will be assessed according to the creditable hours of training (5 points for each course) and the creditable hours of work on projects (2 points for each month of work). Maximum 20 points.

• Knowledge of spoken and written English (demonstrable). 2 points per level from A2 to C2. Maximum 10 points.
• Demonstrable experience through scientific publications or participation in scientific projects in the field of artificial intelligence and green algorithms. Each publication will be valued with up to 3 points if it corresponds to a scientific journal indexed in JCR and up to 1.5 points if it corresponds to a relevant international congress. Publications in GGS class 1 conferences will be equivalent to JCR Q1 and Q2 journals. Participation in R+D projects will be valued up to 1 point depending on the category of the project and the number of participants. Maximum 40 points.

• Training courses: 15 points for a master’s degree, and 0.5 points for every 10 hours of training course.
• Project work: 2 points for each month of work.

Personal interview. Maximum 10 points.Depending on compliance with the requirements and the assessment of merits, an order of priority will be established for the candidates. The person who obtains the highest score will be awarded.
