Description
CONTEXT
The office of the AXA GO Chief Security Officer (CSO) covers AXA GO entities in 3 geographical regions (Asia, Europe and the Americas). It is responsible to ensure that all AXA GO’s entities within the regions keep AXA safe, secure and resilient for 3 main pillars: Information Security, Operational Resilience, Physical Security & Safety.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Within the Department of Operational Resilience – Physical Security & Safety (OR&PSS), the Physical Security & Safety Expert (PSSE) under the responsibility of the Physical Security & Safety Leader (PSSL) has the mission to:
- Contribute to maintain the exhaustive AXA GO’s PSS representative appointment in the entire scope,
- Provide Transversal Physical Security services to the AXA GO’s entities,
- Support the entities, in the countries where AXA GO is present, by an advisory role and an oversight role as a Physical Security & Safety Expert.
- Propose new updates on PSS policies, guidelines, plans and controls defined in respect of the Group Core documentation, and ensure AXA GO’s Local Entities are aligned with,
- Contribute to the implementation of the PSS shared services within the local entities and for that built and proposed templates, tools, and solutions adapted,
- Identify, assess and report the AXA GO’s PSS Operational Risk and Internal Control topics at the central and local level, including where security requirements cannot be fully addressed due to local context, and propose and follow-up on potential solutions and mitigation plans,
- Is key on the deployment and the reporting of AXA GO’s PSS controls and KPI’s on AXA GO’s entities scope,
- Look for opportunities where Physical Security & Safety can be optimized and enhanced at the central and local level,
- Contribute actively to the AXA GO’s deployment of Security Assurance Framework (SAF) for in a convergence spirit,
- Participate in PSS Security communities, workshops and Programs.
- Develop a know-how and demonstrate her/his capability to:
- Detect and alert on lack of AXA GO’s PSS governance,
- Contribute strongly to the data quality and data accuracy for PSS topics,
- Develop a PSS expert role within AXA GO’s CMT (Global, Local),
o Propose and realize adequate PSS dashboard,
- Contribute operationally to the management of the following PSS topics:
- Site Security for Office Buildings and Data Centers:
- Is key on the oversight of PSS requirements for AXA GO Sites and DCs
- Propose and implement PSS requirement control framework,
- Realize Site assessments with risk-based approach,
- Identify gaps, contribute to the definition of action plans to remediate them on time with stakeholders until completion,
- Define adequate templates and tools to control activities,
- Define appropriate KPI’s and their measurement, realize controls,
- Travel Security:
- Participate to the definition of a PSS set of measures for each risky country classification,
- Develop security trainings and supports for travelers and their assets,
- build adequate set of protection measures for countries where AXA is present or not present (especially risky countries),
- Contribute to the oversight of Travel Security activity for GO global scope,
- Propose definition and manage implementation of Travel Security solutions & tool globally across AXA GO locations,
- Manage operationally Travel Security & Safety for AXA GO entities including monitoring, awareness & planning of high-risk business trips,
- Follow-up AXA GO expatriates’ coverage by a dedicated monitoring program,
- Manage enhancement and automation of travel security solutions.
- Incident Management:
- Is key on intel & threat monitoring & coordination of incidents/situations reaction,
- Design & implementation of security & safety response plans, in liaise with OR & IS depts,
- Animate actively the collection of PSS incident declaration and their monitoring until closure,
- PSS Incidents tool implementation and improvement
- PSS Audit,
- Participate to PSS audit issues remediation for the mapping until the closure.
- Capability to support other AXA GO departments on PSS topics for answering Audit requirement.
- Event Security:
- Contribute to collect an exhaustive AXA GO’s event list,
- Framework definition and assessment tools building
- Monitoring of AXA GO events (On site and Off site)
- Update organization support & guidance
- On-site assessment and security plan implementation.
Required professional experience:
- Experience in Physical security, Health and safety, Audit, Risk or related area > 8 years,
- Experience in Business Continuity and/or Crisis Management > 3 years is a plus,
- Experience in an international and multi-cultural environment is an advantage.

Profile
- Fluent in English and French. Fluent in Spanish is a real plus.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills with proven ability to develop and present concise information,
- Multi-cultural understanding will be appreciated,
- Experience with interacting with all levels of management and activities,
- Team player and able to collaborate and guide others.
Technical knowledge
- Good knowledgeable in security risk & controls frameworks
- Knowledge in Physical Security – Health & Safety (Building Management & Facilities, Site protection Office and Data Centers, Event protection, Crisis Management, IT material and data protection),
- Knowledge on the standards tools (SCALA, PwBi,…)

- Understand Group Security’s strategic program and its consequences on Security in the broad sense and those for AXA GO’s CSO department,
- Contribute to actions in the strategic direction of the program and facilitate the success.
Communication competencies:
- Ability to communicate appropriately with all levels of the organization including senior executives,
- Ability to identify the right communication vehicle tailored to the subject matter and the audience,
- Proven ability to present material to large audiences via conference calls using both speaking and listening skills to manage messages,
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

Education / Certification
- Master’s degree in information security or in IT with additional professional experience in Physical Security – Health & safety Management
- CSMP (preferred) or CPP, PSP,
- ISO27001 Certification is a plus,
- Undergraduate Degree is a plus,
- Project Management is a plus.
