Job overview

Responsibility for management and delivery of Financial Statements LB Slovakia Plastics s.r.o. s.r.o. in accordance with Slovak accounting standards & US GAAP, international accounting standards and local legal regulations. Plant Controller provides business and financial support to local organization and corporate offices. The responsibility is to assure compliance with rules and guidelines of group and compliance with respective legal requirements. As well as assure high level of internal control, correctness and accuracy of information and it’s compliance with external and internal guidelines. The role includes the responsibility for the Budget process and financial planning for the company and assures on-time and accurate reporting in accordance with company requirements.

Key Accountabilities

• Responsibility for the company’s complete finances and financial strategy

• Financial analysis, controlling, budgeting, forecasting

• Responsibility for the company’s investments

• Responsibility for preparation and results of internal and external audits

• Responsibility for implementation and control of internal guidelines according to SOX

• Cash flow monitoring and forecasting

• Lean management and cost optimization

• Review of contracts from a financial perspective

• Developing external relationships with relevant contacts (auditors, legal representatives, bankers, tax authorities)

• Overseeing statutory reports and statistics

• Overseeing income tax and VAT preparation

• Knowledge of changes in financial and legal regulations

• IT support for the Oracle accounting system

• Management and leadership of the financial team

• Other one-off tasks resulting from the business needs of the company / group

Profile

Graduate as University – MA degree in Economics/Finance

Significant experience in controlling, in manufacturing sector

An analytical approach to work

High numeracy and sound technical skills

Problem-solving skills and initiative
