Plantlife Cymru is looking for a brilliant bilingual communicator and conservation enthusiast to join our team as  Plantlife Cymru Communications and Policy Support Officer. Could this be you?

About you

You will be an excellent communicator, able to engage people in both Welsh and English, through
a range of media including verbally and in writing. You will have a passion for the environment and
nature conservation, and a desire to share that passion with others. You will have an
enthusiasm for and an ability to inspire and influence people from all walks of life to take
action for wild plants and fungi. You will have an understanding of the environmental sector in
Wales.

About the role

This new role will increase Plantlife Cymru’s impact, by expanding the reach of our
communications and public engagement, through the media of Welsh and English. The role will
also support our policy and advocacy work in Wales, by working with colleagues to make positive
changes for wild plants and fungi within the context of Welsh policy and legislation. Building
relationships will also be key to the role, supporting our partnership working within the
environmental sector and assisting with public enquiries, engagement events and activities
across Wales.
