For our client we are looking for people to fill the position of Platform Engineer.We are seeking a Platform Engineer to join a global infrastructure team and support the operation and growth of a hybrid cloud environment. This role is critical to ensuring a
stable, scalable, and cost-efficient infrastructure that supports enterprise applications and services across multiple regions.
You will lead efforts in automation, provisioning, deployment, and proactive monitoring across GCP and Azure environments. You’ll collaborate with global engineering teams
to define cloud strategy, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive cloud operations to the next level of performance and resilience.

• Design, install, configure, operate, and maintain a hybrid cloud infrastructure across GCP and Azure.
• Drive cloud adoption through infrastructure-as-code (IaC), automated patching, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring practices.
• Support highly automated patching operations using tools such as Ansible, Azure
• Update Manager, and Terraform.
• Develop and document standards and best practices for cloud operations, patching, and network connectivity.
• Provide third-tier support and technical leadership in resolving platform issues and ensuring uptime.
• Monitor and optimize cloud costs while maintaining security, performance, and scalability.
• Support cross-training initiatives and contribute to scaling the platform engineering team globally.

What we expect

• 6+ years of experience in infrastructure automation, platform engineering, or cloud operations.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in public cloud environments, with GCP as the primary area of expertise.
• Strong experience with automation and provisioning tools such as Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient in managing and patching Windows and Linux (Red Hat) operating systems.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and virtual machine operations in cloud environments.
• Comfortable with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; fluent English is required.
