PMLD Special Needs AssistantLocation: Birmingham
Duration: Full-time, ongoing
Salary: £85 – £95 per dayThe Role: A fantastic school in Birmingham seeks a full-time PMLD Teaching Assistant to support students aged 2 to 19 with cognitive, physical, and complex health needs. The school offers a secure environment that caters to each child’s individual needs and emphasises core subjects, hydrotherapy, and sensory rooms. PECS and Makaton experience are beneficial but not required. This position is full-time and runs until the end of the academic year.Benefits:

Requirements:

• Qualified Teaching Assistant or relevant SEN background
• Experience with PMLD, SLD, and complex needs
• Level 1 safeguarding certificate
• Recent school-based references
• Valid photo ID (Driving Licence or passport)
• Full DBS on the update service
