This full-time (1.0 FTE) post is available from 2nd January 2024 on a permanent basis.  

This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.

Summary of the role 

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join the Policy & Planning team within University Corporate Services at the University of Exeter. Policy and Planning play a vital role in supporting the delivery of the University’s strategic objectives, working closely with Senior Management and staff from our three Faculties and Professional Services to provide a range of strategic insights to inform planning and decision making. The focus of this role will be supporting student number planning and academic workload planning across the institution, managing a small team to support that work.  

You will be educated to degree level or professional equivalent with a strong analytical and intellectual ability. You will be numerate and confident in the analysis and presentation of data, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to manage a diverse and stimulating workload. You will be able to assimilate complex sets of data and communicate the results clearly to a variety of audiences both internally and externally, as well as work independently and as part of a team in various roles. Experience in statutory returns and related data in the HE environment would be an advantage.
