Pay Rate to Intermediary: £23.45 per hourSpinwell is recruiting for a Policy, Partnerships and Commissioning Manager for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POLICY, PARTNERSHIPS AND COMMISSIONING MANAGERTo develop and deliver policies, commissioning projects and plans that support delivery of the Police and Crime Plan, monitoring progress against these.

• Lead on policy areas where you will help shape local plans, commissioning intentions and supporting the PCC in their role and duties.
• Lead and support on commissioning projects, contracts and grants – ensuring they are delivering efficiently and effectively, as well as having a positive impact on local communities.
• Support performance and development by utilising analytical and continuous improvement approaches to commissioning and service delivery.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE POLICY, PARTNERSHIPS AND COMMISSIONING MANAGER

• Previous experience of working in a Policy, Commissioning or Performance / Continuous Improvement role.
• Ability to manage a large and diverse portfolio of work with competing deadlines. Ability to be flexible to respond to changing priorities
• Ability to analyse and present information in a range of formats. Ability to interpret data, policy, reports, research etc. and advise on specific issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Understanding of confidentiality and information governance.
• Strong ICT skills and competent to use a range of IT packages including word processing and spreadsheets.
• The ability to advise, persuade and influence stakeholders in a professional and effective manner and in a way that establishes confidence, credibility and trust.
• Able to develop and support productive working relationships. Ability to coach, task and support team members.
• Ability to identify risks and make suggestions around how to mitigate and manage them.
