Offer DescriptionApplicants must have a PhD (or equivalent) in applied Polymer Science, Chemistry, or Enzymology,
with a strong background in protein cloning, expression, and purification. Knowledge of proteinpolymer
modification methods is desired. Applicants should have a strong record of innovative
scientific accomplishments as evidenced by first-author papers published or accepted in
internationally recognized journals. Qualified candidates must also demonstrate outstanding
communication skills, have a strong passion and commitment to science, and work well within a
group. A good command of written and spoken English is a must. If preselected, a telephone or online
interview will be carried out before any other appointment is made.
The selected candidate is expected to conduct research, write papers, reports, and proposals, and
establish collaborations with partner institutions. The position involves the supervision of PhD
