Offer DescriptionA postdoctoral research staff position is advertised to collaborate with the Artificial Intelligence and Democracy research line of the Department of Law and Information and Communication Technology of the Pompeu Fabra University, to carry out scientific-technical activities linked to lines of research or scientific-technical services – regulated in article 23 bis of Law 14/2011, of 1 June, on Science, Technology and InnovationRequirementsResearch Field Other Education Level PhD or equivalentSkills/Qualifications

• Candidates should specialise in the field of artificial intelligence and democracy, and should have a background in law, political science or philosophy.
• They must be early stage researchers and must be fluent in English.
• These eligibility requirements must be met by the last day of the application deadline, they must be able to be reliably attested at any time during the selection process and must still be fulfilled on the date of signature of the contract

Specific Requirements

• Hold a doctoral degree

Not having been dismissed by disciplinary proceedings from the service of any of the public administrations, nor having been disqualified by a final judgement for the performance of public functions. • Research capacity judged by the impact achieved in training, publications, presentations at (up to 30 points).
• Knowledge and mastery of the research topics of the project (up to 30 points)
• Quality of writing (up to 20 points)
• Motivation letter (up to 10 points)
• Recommendation letters (up to 10 points)
