Offer DescriptionWe are looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher to work on the project “Evolution of motivations, attitudes, values, and cross-sectional skills of undergraduate students in UNIJES centers”, a cross-sectional project which focuses on the description and analysis of the motivations, attitudes, and values of undergraduate students in UNIJES university centers during the initial selection and on the completion of their studies.UNIJES (Union of Spanish Jesuit Universities) is a network of Spanish universities that share common values and an educational vision aligned with the tradition and philosophy of the Society of Jesus. The following university centers affiliated to UNIJES participate to this project, together with the associated leading researchers.

The role of the candidate includes: * Literature review

• Survey design and interview development
• Implementation of questionnaire in electronic format, data collection, and management of the databases of each participating center
• Quantitative and qualitative data analysis
• Preparation of academic reports and publications
• Co-authorship of academic articles
• Preparation of deliverables for the project’s funding agency and participating centers
• Supervision of the daily operation of the project

Given the inter-university nature of the study, the candidate will be based at one of the aforementioned centers (Esade, IQS, Universidad de Loyola, Universidad de Deusto, and Universidad Pontificia Comillas). Funding is included for attendance at conferences and research meetings, as well as travel expenses for data collection at each of the centers.RequirementsResearch Field Psychological sciences Education Level PhD or equivalentResearch Field Sociology Education Level PhD or equivalentSkills/QualificationsCandidates must meet the following requirements:

• PhD in psychology, pedagogy, sociology, or a related field.
• Language skills: English and Spanish

We are looking for a researcher experienced in data collection through secondary data sources, surveys, and interviews. The ideal candidate must have proven skills in quantitative and qualitative data analysis, as well as database management. Given the inter-university nature of the study, the researcher must be available to travel between sites for quantitative data collection and interviewing.Experience in academic research related to academic skills assessment, employability, psychometrics, and both quantitative and qualitative methodologies will be valued positively.
