Offer DescriptionJob positionPostdoc candidateJob position requirements (skills/languages/required experience)Ph degree in prehistoric archaeology, zooarchaeology and/or biogeochemistry Less than 5 years of post-doctoral experience after the PhD.Experience in database management of zooarchaeological remains. Experience in publishing code and data in open repositories (e.g., Zenodo, Dryad)Research experience in academia, research institutes or similar institutions on Archaeozoological prehistory and specially in south-west Asias contexts (e.g. Turkey, Syria, Iraq).Emphasis on studies related to the process of animal domestication in the Near East.Experience in anatomical and taxonomic identification of faunal remains from South-west Asian contexts.Experience in sampling archaeozoological remains for stable isotope analysis, specially of δ¹³C and δ¹⁸O.Experience in handling and intepreting stable isotope data and integrating multidisciplinary research.Availability to travel to Europe and United States.Ability and commitment to work both independently and collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary and international team.Fluent in English.
