Situated in Milan, the university not only fosters regional development but also contributes to global scientific advancements.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Postdoctoral Researcher at Politecnico di Milano, located in Milan. The Postdoctoral Researcher will be involved in conducting a research project and performing data analysis, and collaborating with academic partners. Day-to-day tasks will include computational work and preparing research publications. The role also involves presenting research findings at conferences and seminars, as well as seeking and securing grant funding for ongoing and future research initiatives.Qualifications

• Proven experience from publications is required on: (a) multiphysiscs modelling of phenomena at the boundary between fluidynamics and mass transport, and (b) bio-image processing in fluorescence microscopy for unsupervised detection of biological structures with artificial intelligence-based techniques. Proficiency in Comsol Multiphysics, Python, Matlab, C, etc. is highly preferred
• Research and Data Analysis capabilities
• Experience in Teaching and mentoring students
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Prior experience in securing grant funding is a plus
• Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering or a related discipline)
