VHIR offers vacant position for a Postdoctoral Researcher within the Biomedical Research in Urology.Education and qualifications:Required:

• PhD in the area of biomedical sciences
• Good communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English
• Good qualifications

Desired:

• Knowledge of bioinformatic tools

Experience and knowledge:Required:

• Publication as a co-author in a peer-reviewed journal or demonstrated scientific background
• Experience in molecular biology and cancer biology
• A degree of independence and teamwork skills

Desired:

• Experience in genomic techniques (WES, NGS, exome-sequencing…)

Main responsibilities and duties:

• Provide support for the tasks needed in the context of the Flute project to fulfil the aims.
• Collaborate in the European project Flute aiming to accurately discriminate between indolent and aggressive prostate cancer.

Labour conditions:

• Full-time position: 40h/week
• Starting date: January 2025
• Gross annual salary: 24.785,40 euros
• Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
